Meet The Team
Taylor Simone Jones
Role: Empowered Ministries Director
Educational Background: B.S. in Biology. Pre-Med | Masters Candidate for Pharmacy in Regulatory Affairs with emphasis in International Biomedicine
Ministry Focus: Our ministry focus is to serve God’s people according to Matthew 25:40. We provide spiritual support and inclusion practices for individuals with disabilities and their families while seeking to create a welcoming environment where everyone feels valued and loved, regardless of their abilities. Our mission is to remove barriers to faith, help individuals feel like they belong, and foster a sense of community by empowering them with the Word of God. We currently provide support during services for our Student Ministries. We offer a one-on-one volunteer or peer buddy to support the individual’s needs during our Student Ministries service in Linked UP Kids Nursery- Pre-K & the PLUG 6th-12th grade. The buddy system allows us to practice kindness, patience and curiosity through building relationship, breaking down the Word of God in a developmentally appropriate way and fostering a space where their relationship with God and others can grow.
Personal Bio: My God-given purpose is to bridge gaps in families, in generations, and in demographics. I am passionate about advocating for those who cannot always advocate for themselves. I have gained a well-rounded wealth of experience in ministry and with people over the years and I value the ability to provide resources as a filter for organizations, community partners and ultimately Jesus Christ. My ultimate goal is to actively share the Gospel in every way possible, through my words, actions, and ways I show up in life.
