Linked UP Church is currently looking to fill the following positions:

  • Executive Administrator
  • Administrative Assistant for Student & Young Adult Ministries
  • Events Planner/Director

 

Executive Administrator:

This position will be the Executive Assistant to Senior Pastor and Co-Pastor:

  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, written and organizational skills
  • Projects a professional and confident image, able to handle a stressful pace
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • Basic understanding of accounting methods
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a multi-task environment
  • Strong administrative abilities which include but are not limited to recording of minutes, budget reporting, some data analysis, and some statistical research and reporting.
  • Steady, positive attitude, people-oriented, team player, customer service minded
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook

Administrative Assistant for Student & Young Adult Ministries:

Status: Part Time
Rate: $15-$18/hour
Schedule: Must be available weekends and variably though the week 20 – 30 hours weekly
Travel: Some travel is involved (less than 10%)

Qualifications:

  • Must possess a high school diploma, GED, or secondary education completion certificate
  • Minimum of one year of administrative or support role
  • Ability to quickly learn and excel in the use of technology, including the Linked UP Church registration process and social media platforms, and some media outlets.
  • Experience in event planning
  • Ability to handle multiple projects effectively
  • Ability to build and lead a team in completing projects
  • Aptitude for learning and clearly communicating the vision and systems of Linked UP Students
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in formal written communication
  • Proven track record of effective time management
  • Proficiency in Word and Excel
  • A committed Christian adhering to the fundamentals of Godly Covenant
  • Aptitude to work with youth and young adults
  • Committed to the vision of Linked UP Church and membership

Event Planner/Director:

Status: Part Time (15-25 hrs./week)
Rate: $16-$20/hour
Schedule: Must be available weekends and some independent work
Travel: Some travel less than 10%

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Publisher
  • Proven ability to lead and build teams through Staff, professional organizations, small group leadership or dream team service
  • Profound and acknowledged understanding of the Linked UP Church culture
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
  • 2 years of successful service at Linked UP Church on Staff or the Dream Team
  • Supervisory Experience
  • Ability to negotiate contracts, propose & assess budgets, and implement strategic timelines
  • Ability to multitask and manage the demands of the project/event.
  • A committed Christian adhering to the fundamentals of Godly Covenant
  • Aptitude to work with different teams of people simultaneously
  • Committed to the vision of Linked UP Church and membership
  • Proven excellence with time management
