Grasshopper or Giant-Killer?

Numbers 13:31-33 KJV
[31] But the men that went up with him said, We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we. [32] And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched unto the children of Israel, saying, The land, through which we have gone to search it, is a land that eateth up the inhabitants thereof; and all the people that we saw in it are men of a great stature. [33] And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.

If success is important to you in any area of your life, you’ll find a way to win. If not, you’ll find an excuse! God made you a giant killer, don’t see yourself as a grasshopper. Your enemy will always see you the way you see yourself. Go get it this week!!

I Am What I Am By Grace

1 Corinthians 15:10 (KJV)
10[But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which] was bestowed [upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.]

When you make a mistake, unfortunately, the critics and naysayers come out of the woodwork. People will tell you, “You’re all washed up. It’s too late.” If you wear that label, it will keep you from the amazing future God has in store. God says, “My grace is bigger than any mistake.” God says, “I can still get you to your destiny.” God says, “I will give you beauty for those ashes. I’ll pay you back double for the unfair things that have happened.”

You wouldn’t be alive unless God had another victory in your future. Why don’t you take off the “washed up” label? Take off the “failure,” “guilty,” “condemned” labels and put on some new labels: redeemed, restored, forgiven, bright future, new beginning. His grace is sufficient!!

Grace Through Faith

James 4:6-7 (AMP)
6[But He gives us more and more grace (power of the Holy Spirit, to meet this evil tendency and all others fully). That is why He says, God sets Himself against the proud and haughty, but gives grace [continually] to the lowly (those who are humble enough to receive it). 7[So be subject to God. Resist the devil [stand firm against him], and he will flee from you. ]

Resist means to actively fight against. If you don’t know where trials and evil come from, you’ll end up submitting to what you should be resisting. When you submit to God (come under His mission), He’ll give you more than enough grace to overcome every trial and all evil. Have faith in His grace!!
