Tonette L. Price received her Bachelor’s Degree from Clark Atlanta University in 2001, majoring in Psychology with a concentration in Child Growth and Development. While at Clark Atlanta, she interned and volunteered at several youth facilities and was a childcare giver for families across the Atlanta area.
Upon graduation, she worked for the United Way as an adolescent counselor to those aged 12-17. After leaving this position, she worked for Kaplan for 5 years and became the Senior Director at Score! Educational Centers, managing two tutoring centers for students in grades K-8th. She then started her work at K12 Inc. as the Marketing Manager and Community Relations lead for a statewide charter school in Georgia. The Academy services over 14,000 students in K-12th grades across the state of Georgia. In this position she has traveled the entire state of Georgia helping families to reach their academic goals. She also hosted over 1000 field trips for families throughout the state in the last 7.5 years, to bring insight and to educate them real time on history, science, reading and math at fun and engaging locations. She currently works as the Corporate Sponsorships Manager for the Academy finding educational programming, grants and sponsorships for students in need. She has served in Children’s Ministry since 2003 and loves the Word of God and His children.
Her passion is to impart the Word of God to children at a young age so that they may always stay on fire for God as they grow. She also wants to teach them about their value in Christ so they may find their purpose early in life.
In November 2015, she married her best friend and first love Justin. They reside in the Atlanta area together.
