Russell Williams was born in Thibodaux, Louisiana on December 9, 1963. He graduated from Central Lafourche High school and entered the United State Army where he completed 20 years of military service not knowing that the Army would be the tool God would use to shape and mode him into the person he is today. During his 20 years of service, Russell received numerous medals and awards for outstanding service, attended and excelled in many different schools which led to doors being open to fulfill a childhood dream of traveling around the world. In 1993, Russell was on a rapid deployment mission to Kuwait, where he found himself all alone in the middle of the dessert sitting on top of an M1A1 main battle tank, and he heard the voice of God saying it was time to change his life. From that very moment, God began to show himself strong in Russell’s life through many signs and miracles. It is because of what God has done in his life that Russell live out his favorite scripture Galatians 2:20 which says, I have been crucified with Christ, it is no longer I who live but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.

Russell is happily married to his lovely wife Renea; together they have been blessed with three wonderful children.

Russell has a B.A. in Biblical Studies that he received from Minnesota School of Theology in 2005. He Graduated from Charis Bible College in May of 2015. It is there where Russell obtained a better understand of who he is in Christ, the authority he has in Christ and Healing for the body of Christ. Russell has spent the last two years going on mission trips to Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and Panama. He also volunteers as Chaplin assistance at Wells Star Medical Hospital in Austell and serves in the ministry room here at Linked UP Church.
