Dianne Walker, is a dedicated and loving wife, a proud mother of two adult children and a daughter-in-love. With an engaging and easy going personality, she is a confidant and compassionate ear to many. She is a licensed and ordained Minister who encourages, inspires, and is dedicated to empowering others to walk in their God-given purpose.
She has been committed to community outreach and activism for several years, with a passion to impact the lives of women and teen girls who have been physically and/or emotionally wounded. She has a heartfelt love for all women who have been affected directly or indirectly by the Correctional System, regardless of their background or status in life.
She has served in the community as a counselor, mentor, facilitator, and public speaker to and for women needing to know “they matter”.
She considers the opportunity to facilitate a Healing and Transition (HATS) program in the Orange County Female Detention Center as one of her life’s greatest blessings. The program provided resources and life skills for career and parental development to ex-offenders reentering the work force, and transitioning back into societal norms.
Dianne has over (15 years) of corporate experience as a sales/marketing Executive. She served as an Ambassador on behalf of Dress for Success in Orlando and Dallas. She also served as Chamber of Commerce Business Liaison, where she helped create partnerships between small businesses and Fortune 500 companies. Dianne and her husband, Min. Johnny, were entrepreneurs, owning a Logistics/Transportation company for many years. She served on the Board of the Florida Minority Supplier Development Council as their Business Coordinator, where she was spokesperson for Minority Women Business startup’s.
She earned a Bachelor of Business of Administration degree from University of Memphis, and she is a graduate of Pistis School of Ministry, where she served as Class Secretary. She yielded to the call of God on her life and has served as a Deaconess, Head Hostess, Ministry Room leader, and Jail Ministry Dept. Head. She currently serves as a Small Groups leader for Women of Promise (WOP). Moreover, Dianne is Author of a book entitled “PEOPLE WHAT R U THINKIN”?
